The 7 symptoms of tenosynovitis

Tenosynovitis is characterized by the synovial sheath's inflammation surrounding a tendon.

The seven symptoms of tenosynovitis include:

  1. Pain and tenderness along the affected tendon
  2. Swelling and redness in the affected area
  3. Stiffness and difficulty moving the affected joint
  4. A popping or snapping sensation when moving the affected joint
  5. A grating or creaking sensation when moving the affected joint
  6. Weakness in the affected limb or muscle
  7. A visible lump or bump along the affected tendon.

It's common in the hand and wrist, ankle and foot, and elbow. If you suspect you have tenosynovitis, you should see a doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
